Requirements

  • Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage VTC scheduling and provide live event support.
  • Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video record devices and other related end user devices.
  • Operate and manage equipment for presentations, sound, lighting and audio/video conferencing.
  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Develop SOP’s for utilization of conference center equipment.
  • Escalate IT issues to Tier III when needed.
  • Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP device, and voice and video conference support.
  • Manage hardware in all stages including unpacking and setup of end user devices.
  • Resolve IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other contractor stakeholders when IT issues require Tier III escalation or have external dependencies.
  • Install application software on end-user device workstations via scripted install packages.
  • Inventory management of UC deployed software and end user devices.
  • Provide user education and training in basic hardware and software functions.
  • Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees.
  • Use ServiceNow-based ticketing database to track, update, and close break/fix incident tickets and fulfill new requests.
  • Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired.
