Requirements
- Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 4 years of experience be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level.
Responsibilities
- Manage VTC scheduling and provide live event support.
- Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video record devices and other related end user devices.
- Operate and manage equipment for presentations, sound, lighting and audio/video conferencing.
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Develop SOP’s for utilization of conference center equipment.
- Escalate IT issues to Tier III when needed.
- Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP device, and voice and video conference support.
- Manage hardware in all stages including unpacking and setup of end user devices.
- Resolve IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other contractor stakeholders when IT issues require Tier III escalation or have external dependencies.
- Install application software on end-user device workstations via scripted install packages.
- Inventory management of UC deployed software and end user devices.
- Provide user education and training in basic hardware and software functions.
- Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees.
- Use ServiceNow-based ticketing database to track, update, and close break/fix incident tickets and fulfill new requests.
- Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired.
