Requirements
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline)
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Extensive experience and knowledge to design, code, test, debug, and document software in a variety of programming languages
- Knowledge of Active Directory Structure
- Knowledge of MS IIS 10. Specifically creating/managing websites sometimes running more than one URL within the same IIS instance.
- Knowledge of AppDynamics.
- Knowledge of Siteminder.
- Knowledge of PKI infrastructure. Specifically creating, managing, configuring certificates in Venafi and installing them in IIS.
- Knowledge of MS updates. Responsible for applying certain updates that are not supported by the VA’s support team.
- Knowledge of Nessus. Responsible for remediating monthly Nessus vulnerability scans.
- Knowledge of Windows Registry.
- Knowledge of MS SQL. Responsible for configuring and maintaining user accounts and maintain the SQL server and remediate SCCD scan vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of AZURE virtual environment. Including managing 5 web servers and 3 SQL servers.
Responsibilities
- Accountability for system software and hardware maintenance
- Engaged in the daily operations, incident management, and resolution activities
- Collaboration with various stakeholders to diagnose problems and lead customers through the necessary steps to correct their issues
- Provide limited development support for a small project in sustainment that utilizes a SQL5 database in a corporate data warehouse.
