Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experience
- Six years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably in the government sector
- Demonstrated experience with VMware (Vcenter)
- Experience with Cisco ACI products or related Cisco technical environments
- Experience with data system security
- Experience with creating scripts in Python, Perl, or other scripting languages
- Professional experience and high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications
Responsibilities
- Install and configure software, hardware, and networks
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Ensure security of IT infrastructure
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Be proactive about challenges or constraints within the program and manage them accordingly
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time necessary
