- Current TS/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
- Technical Training, Certifications: Minimum CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT II compliant certification
Responsibilities
- Red Hat Linux Server Administration
- Ensuring server stability, optimal performance, and security
- System monitoring and performance optimization
- Identifying and resolving potential issues proactively
- Adhering to security guidelines and conducting audits
- Collaboration with the Platform Engineer to design and maintain platform infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) development and updates
- Familiarity with Navy Evaluate STIG tool and implementing DoD DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Comfortable with system hardening, patching, and performance tuning
- Experience supporting ATO (Authorization to Operate) packages or audits in a DoD context
- Experience with Linux (preferred) and Windows Server
- Familiarity with MS Azure preferred
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Additional certifications such as Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, are advantageous but not mandatory
