Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience designing architectures to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements, as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
  • Knowledge of activity, data and process modeling techniques and practices, to include hands on experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) development modeling tools, such as Cameo
  • Ability to apply enterprise architecture concepts to specific secure and survivable communications development tasks in a structured approach
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered by this role

Responsibilities

  • Participate on the Mission Engineering team that focuses on studies for current and future systems, programs and products by developing DOD enterprise and solution architectures.
  • Evaluate problems of workflows, organization and planning, and develop appropriate corrective action.
  • Serve as the NC3 Enterprise Architecture subject matter expert to support data-driven enterprise decisions based on the NC3 Enterprise and Solution Architectures.
  • Support senior leaders and provide Enterprise and system architectural and recommendations to meet strategic objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as OSD (NII), Joint Staff, and USSTRATCOM
  • Knowledge of Nuclear C3 systems and operational and analytical experience in nuclear/strategic systems
  • Experience working on DoD programs or systems
  • The Open Group Framework (TOGAF) certification and/or DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) certification
