Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing technical role in a private, public, government or military environment
- OR
- Associate’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and minimum seven (7) years of experience in a manufacturing technical role in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Possessing a thorough background in Allen-Bradley controls systems and hardware and proficiency in Motion Control Servo’s including Kinetix Drives and Servo Motors
- Leading controls aspects of capital projects with Division Engineering partners
- Leading strategic improvement initiatives for the department by utilizing a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI) programming, working knowledge of Network Architecture, robotics, servo motion control, variable frequency drives (VFD), data historians, control and process valves
- Supporting Systems Technicians with tactical projects and growth
- Driving continuous improvement activities for the plant
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of ethernet IP protocols, IP addressing & subnets, AD (Group Policy) credentials for server configuration, MODBUS, familiarity with scripting and automation (VB scripting and SQL)
- Demonstrated track record of performance in process improvement
- Demonstrated project leadership skills and demonstrated ability to define and achieve goals
- Ability to work with a cross functional team in the manufacturing organization
