Requirements
- Experience with logistics and program management for large organizations, including a military systems command
- Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of the areas of program life cycle, including design, testing, procurement, and installation
- Ability to understand project timelines, deliverables, and critical path
- Ability to understand Technical Design Packages (TDP) for Naval systems
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems
- Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Work independently with some guidance
- Provide the Navy with expert and in-depth program management, acquisition, documentation, and logistics planning in support of a Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT)
- Work in a team environment to meet client challenges and analyze new solutions using analytical techniques and referencing NAVSEA regulatory and policy updates
- Develop and maintain documentation essential to design, test, procure, and deliver TEMPALT components and work directly with clients and supporting commands
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with the Naval Sea Systems Command or Navy Program Executive Office
- Experience with procedures and responsibilities for technical design, approval, and configuration of Temporary Alterations (TEMPALTS) and Shipyard Working Environment
- Experience with automated design systems and tools, including AutoCAD or Solid Works
- Ability to manage and supervise team members and lead projects to meet expectations
