Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Active Top Secret. TS/SCI preferred.
- Technical background in real-time software development and/or complex hardware development for software-based RF/Wireless/SIGINT/Communications/EW/Radar systems.
- A background and working-level knowledge of digital signal processing, waveform development, RF, data analytics, software-defined radios, and software development is a must.
- Experience in developing customer-facing documentation of specifications, ICDs, design reviews, and test documentation. Develops a wide variety of contractual and internal documentation and reports.
Responsibilities
- Authors system designs, development, documentation, and testing of complex tactical hardware and software systems from concept development through fielding and sustainment.
- Develops and translates stakeholder requirements into verifiable requirements for the technical execution team.
- Develops and assists with the adoption of appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools appropriate for the projects and technologies within the RSEG group.
- Conducts Analysis of Alternatives, Technology Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, and various other technology studies as required.
- Collaborates and coordinates with external and internal customers and partners – builds collaborative relationships through effective communications and outreach.
- Ability to participate in solutions for prototypes and efforts to develop concepts and mission requirements into viable system architectures for successful proposals and program execution.
- Assists with the development of technical roadmaps and strategy.
