Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or other Science discipline
- 2 years’ experience with the US Navy in an engineering or technical capacity
- Familiarity with US Navy shipboard and shoreside maintenance procedures
- Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance
- Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in US Navy maintenance operations and procedures
- Support teams conducting Analysis of Alternatives, Design Studies, and help assess corresponding impacts to mission effectiveness
- Coordinate development efforts with and interface between teams and personnel including platform managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), contractors, and other engineers
- Assist with program assessments ensuring programmatic goals/milestones are well documented and achieved
- Facilitate, lead and help with meetings to include peer, design, program, and testing reviews
- Identify, monitor, and help resolve risks and problems encountered by the team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the US Navy Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and scheduler (SKED)
- Experience with shipboard maintenance data collection systems
