Responsibilities
- Provide installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware.
- Windows Hardware support – Troubleshoot and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
- Install, and upgrade computers, printers, scanners, phones and other critical hardware.
- Provides troubleshooting, support, diagnose, isolate, and resolve system service failures to meet program resolution timelines (Critical, Essential and Support).
- Reseat cards, reboot hardware, replace hardware components, and replace cabling.
- Re-image or reload software to approved baseline standard, run diagnostics to repair storage disc or corrupted files.
- Customer service oriented with ability to explain technical terms in a user-friendly way, and work with our customers to properly diagnose system issues and recommend solutions.
- Provide situational awareness to operations: technicians on incident troubleshooting actions, coordination, and resolution status.
- Communicate incident ticket: change request updates with managers, team members, service providers, customers, and stakeholders.
- Update incident: change documentation, configuration management database (CMDB), knowledge articles, training resources and other documentation.
- Conduct back-end device configuration, manage security settings, and protocols.
- Participate in the administration of multiple critical network systems.
- Must be able to track project studies, plans, action items, etc.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Must be willing to work an occasional closing shift from 1000 to 1800 hours as required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Training
- Certification(s) or AA/AS Degree
- Understanding of desktop computers, thin clients, servers, VoIP phones, video conferencing, cabling standards, installation, systems administration, testing equipment, and ITIL best practices
