Technical Consultant – Maritime Charting

5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and on-line)
Professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
Experience supporting hydrographic data and nautical chart production
Applicants selected will be subjected to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This could include a Top Secret Clearance (TS), a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information Clearance (TS/SCI), or Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) adjudication
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related field

Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and implement key GIS workflows using the ArcGIS platform
Configure ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise to support Maritime Safety of Navigation production workflows
Understand how Esri technology integrates/interfaces with customers’ solutions vision
Work as part of a team to pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers
Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations

Experience with ArcGIS Maritime for hydrographic data production in support of Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) and/or Electronic Navigational Chart (ENC) products
Experience working on Agile Scrum Teams
Experience with current technology implementation patterns including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture
Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related field
