Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, public relations, advertising and/or communications
- Experience working with diverse populations is required
Responsibilities
- Manage the development and execution of technical communications efforts to support the college’s strategic relationships
- Support recruitment and retention of students, faculty, and staff
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, current and prospective donors, and other external stakeholders (e.g., CCSD, community partners, policymakers)
- Highlight faculty research, faculty/staff/student accomplishments, and college programs, including technical details of programs, processes and procedures
- Develop multimedia content production and distribution
- Support college events and programs with logistical and photo/video services
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience successfully managing complex projects simultaneously
- Experience in higher education
- Experience with photo and video editing
- An understanding of university and industry accessibility standards is highly preferred
