Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Master’s degree preferred
- 6+ years of related project experience, with a track record of successfully leading projects of varying scale
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhinoceros, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Develop all phases of projects, including programming, consulting, strategy, conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production
- Manage client, team and project coordination, including full documentation preparation and discipline coordination with structural, MEP, VT, lighting, AV, landscape and civil consultants
- Support daily communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions, including design resiliency expertise to resolve complex technical and design challenges
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings, project manuals and specifications
- Conduct and document site visits, prepare field reports, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED accreditation a plus
- International design experience a plus
- Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development
