Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in a studio environment, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or project management role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline (e.g., Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Information Design, Interaction Design).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of moving image production tools, such as After Effects, Final Cut Pro and Nuke.
  • Proven experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., InDesign scripting, Photoshop actions, Script, Python, Java Script).
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Switch is a plus.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for AI, automation, a knack for problem-solving, and a desire to make a real impact.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for production teams worldwide, providing guidance, support, and training on automation best practices.
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and robust automation scripts and workflows that streamline production processes.
  • Oversee the entire automation project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of automation solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Continuously evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for automation, and explore new technologies and approaches to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Switch is a plus.
