Requirements
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, including deployment, cluster management, and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical foundation in Linux administration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on expertise with VMware vSphere.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, adept at translating complex technical details into engaging, understandable messages.
- Ability to produce compelling technical content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Passionate about technology, with strong analytical and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative spirit, capable of excelling independently and within dynamic cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s and 8+ years of related experience; at this level post-graduate coursework may be desirable or Masters degree and 6+ years of related experience or PhD and 3+ years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging technical content, including solution guides, white papers, blogs, videos, demos, and captivating presentations showcasing the power of Kubernetes within VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Deliver outstanding technical demonstrations and webinars to customers, partners, and internal teams, reinforcing VMware Cloud Foundation’s market-leading capabilities.
- Act as a key liaison between engineering, product management, sales teams, and customers, providing feedback that can directly influence product roadmaps and feature developments.
- Serve as a recognized VMware Cloud Foundation expert, with the opportunity to present our technology at industry events, conferences, webinars, and customer engagements.
- Explore and analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to keep VMware ahead of the curve.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and related technologies (e.g., vSAN, NSX).
- Prior experience in technical marketing, product marketing, solutions engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with VMware vSphere Kubernetes Service, the vSphere Supervisor, or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.
