Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
- Ability to travel for business; 20 – 25 % travel commitment over the year (travel mostly contained to Canada and USA). Trips to site would typically range from a couple of days to 1-2 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Voice of reality / technical information gathering to inform all strategic planning processes – market analysis, product requirements, and pricing. What is the product good and bad at? Where does it have difficulty? What are our real sustainable differentiators vs. the competition?
- Competitive analysis: Synthesize information from analysts, competition, channel and Sales to identify Clearpath’s competitive position including gaps and opportunities for success
- Customer / prospect Intelligence: Understand and represent the customer needs and gaps to inform development of tools and assets support the decision making process
- Technical marketing: Turn the information gathered into usable guidance for partners, integrators, and customers. Focus is on the intelligence and prescriptive guidance itself, not the polish, presentation, or delivery – others can do that (unless you want to do more of that).
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience or transferable technical experience involving robotic systems, manufacturing technology or material handling
- Proven ability to lead indirectly through influence and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product management
- Experience working in fast-paced technology companies with demonstrated experience launching products and services, scale-ups preferred
- Proven expertise simplifying complex information and clearly and concisely communicate information verbally and in print
- Prior experience with AMRs or ROS are a bonus
