Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience in product, program, or project management
- Degree in Engineering or Analytics-heavy major or equivalent experience
- Understanding of machine learning fundamentals (training vs. test set, overfitting, precision/recall, positive supervision, etc.) to design ontology
- Excellent work ethic, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment with high ambiguity
- Passion for the future of transportation and autonomous driving
Responsibilities
- Manage data annotation projects from ideation to planning, pilot, and production while diving into details, including annotating data yourself
- Collaborate with neural network engineers to identify areas for improvement via data
- Design annotation ontology with engineers, considering implications for training neural networks
- Partner with the data annotation leadership team to set goals, forecast timelines, and ensure goals are met and communicate project progress, risks, and successes to stakeholders
- Design labeling interfaces, create and test core features, flag issues, and prioritize feature requests
- Leverage the Tesla fleet to source diverse and plentiful data to annotate
- Identify process inefficiencies and improve workflows with Autopilot leadership, program management, and engineering teams
