Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical sales and/or technical support
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (chemical, industrial, or mechanical)
  • Knowledge of water treatment, reverse osmosis systems, Spiral Wound Membrane technology, Ultrafiltration & General Filtration
  • Field service background

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the water treatment market
  • Provide technical expertise to customers and team members
  • Create and present technical proposals and solutions
  • Navigate contract negotiations, pricing, and terms of sale
  • Achieve sales objectives
  • Evaluate customer’s water treatment requirements and recommend solutions
  • Deliver technical support and expertise
  • Establish and nurture long-term client relationships
  • Partner with customers to develop customized water treatment solutions
  • Perform and analyze water quality assessments
  • Resolve water treatment system challenges
  • Provide guidance on system design, installation, and operation
  • Partner with engineering and product development teams
  • Channel customer feedback for product and service improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and other departments
  • Develop comprehensive technical proposals, specifications, and project plans
  • Design and deliver technical presentations
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and project activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of water chemistry & treatment technologies
  • Proficiency with technology platforms (Office 365, Salesforce, Google Workspace)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • Experience with CRM software and technical design tools
  • Results-driven approach to business development
  • Collaborative mindset and passion for technical sales
  • Travel Requirement: 30%
