Requirements
- Education: Advanced degree in EE (Masters or PhD)
- Work experience: 3+ years of experience is preferred
- A background in DSP or SERDES designs is preferred
- Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink
- Experienced with all phases of digital design
- Proficiency with C/C++
- Comfort using Unix/Linux O/S
Responsibilities
- Architect and design high-speed DSP blocks
- Architectural definition, design and implementation of DSP blocks used in high-speed serial links
- Feasibility studies in Matlab/Simulink
- Block-level verification in Matlab/Verilog
- Ownership of DSP blocks from specification through to production
- Support HW Design & Validation, Applications, Product Development, Marketing and Production Engineering divisions with system level debug
- Represent Microchip at conferences and customer events
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in DSP or SERDES designs is preferred
- 3+ years of experience is preferred
