Technical Writer

Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on writing or communications
3+ years of user documentation or technical writing experience
Excellent communication (verbal and written), attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent command of both French and English grammar
Ability to bring cross functional teams together to complete documentation requirements, including creation, review, approval, and publications
Experience translating from English to French in areas such as finance, accounting, taxation, management, marketing, human resources, and information technology
Experience and working knowledge with content management systems
Knowledge of technical writing principles
Expertise in Microsoft Manual of Style and other prescribed style guides
Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational / time management skills, with the ability to multi-task productively

Create a positive team member experience
Translate policies, procedures, and supporting documentation from English to French
Engage in the development and production of enterprise-wide policies, procedures, and supporting documentation
Interact with subject matter experts, executives, and business partners to ensure alignment with legal and compliance requirements and produce accurate and clear policies and communications
Manage multiple writing projects with tight deadlines
Ensure consistency, superior level of accuracy, and outstanding grammar and style in policy and procedure documentation
Adhere to internal Style Guide to ensure consistency and alignment with prescribed company style standards
Analyze, write, edit, and publish policies and procedures with outstanding level of grammatical and stylistic accuracy and consistency
Update internal Style Guide to include French-specific word usage and style standards
