Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Information Technology, a related field or relevant technical experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a business operations or program management environment
- Proven experience writing and editing technical documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in documentation tools and software
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint and Visio
Responsibilities
- Write and edit user manuals, technical guides, process documentation, and other deliverables
- Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and user-friendly
- Develop and maintain templates and style guides for documentation
- Ability to understand and create simple process maps
- Work closely with program managers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand documentation requirements
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Review and edit documentation to ensure it meets the program’s standards for quality and consistency
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to improve documentation
- Continuously evaluate and improve documentation processes and tools
- Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the documentation strategy
- Organize and manage documentation in a centralized repository
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible to stakeholders
- Handle additional duties as assigned by management
Preferred Qualifications
- French language proficiency (written and spoken) preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
