Requirements
- Associate degree in technical field or HS +5 years of Semiconductor process experience in DEFECT metrology.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
- Strong data mining and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and able to react to shifting priorities.
- Ability to work in clean room for extended period (12-hour shifts) in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible for urgent technical support (occasionally off hours).
Responsibilities
- DEFECT Metrology and defect process engineering support in high volume 24×7 manufacturing environment. This will include, but not limited to SPC Process monitoring, responding to DEFECT issues, identifying common bad tools, managing out of control action plans, dispositioning material.
- Setting up recipes on automated defect inspection and review tools and supporting metrology tools qualifications.
- Work closely with engineering team on defect investigations. This will include setting up process segmentations, summarizing defect data, drawing conclusions, and presenting it to engineering team.
- Train production operators on inspection recipes set ups and tool troubleshooting.
- DEFECT Data analysis using KLARITY ACE or similar SW.
- Review of defect procedures and SPEC updates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in defect inspection and review tools (bright field, dark field, SEM review, etc).
- Knowledge of Klarity ACE Defect, or similar and its application in a semiconductor processing environment.
- Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.
