Requirements

  • Lead a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Partner with hospital administrators to align practice initiatives with institutional objectives and enhance care
  • Serve on multiple high-impact hospital committees, including the Bioethics Committee
  • Provide crisis intervention and guidance as the designated institutional Peer Support Lead
  • Oversee quality assurance efforts through case review, proctoring, and provider remediation
  • Lead provider staffing operations, including hiring, licensing, credentialing, and peer review processes
  • Integrate Network Emergency Department Heart Failure Readmission Pilot Physician Lead
  • Create and lead a novel interdisciplinary team to utilize data analytics to decrease hospital readmission for patients with heart failure in an acute care setting
  • Establish ideal program objectives and outcomes, then iterate processes based on real-time feedback from a multidisciplinary team
  • Disseminate pilot outcomes to executive leadership and system-wide stakeholders for proof of concept to scale the program
  • Manage the utilization program and knowledge on building a technology start-up building a national emergency department information exchange
  • Align clinical needs with healthcare technology development to create refined user systems to scale product
  • Implement program and utilization metrics, driving adoption to demonstrate measurable impact on patient outcomes and hospital efficiency
  • Technology project management experience including overseeing junior and mid-level staff, defining project direction, and ensuring successful project delivery
  • Critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client’s management, technology, and operational challenges
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Technology Consulting Director in Guidehouse’s (practice) will work on technology transformation with an acumen of a working Emergency Physician
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and bringing in the knowledge of an ER into a Technology & Advisory firm like Guidehouse.
  • Initiating new things in support models, establishing structure for recurring revenue in an Emergency room
  • Solution offerings that meet market demands, creating new solutions, establishing guidelines, common protocols, and identifying opportunity that work with multiple customers
  • Solution building – ability to understand customer solutions, solution development, solution to execution planning in an ER
  • Leads business development for technology pursuits, and leads delivery teams on high impact technology transformation in client engagements
  • Driving business development activities including RFP responses and proposal development
  • Establishing approaches to gather information from clients regarding client structure, process, technology and culture
  • Effectively leveraging project resources to accomplish tasks while providing regular feedback and coaching
  • Ability to lead account planning and target new business opportunities that support relevant practice development goals and objectives.
