Requirements

  • Current Senior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Graduation date of December 2024 or May/June 2025
  • Commitment to complete the full 18-month Leadership Development Program.

Responsibilities

  • Align with business to define requirements
  • Develop, document, test, and modify new and existing code
  • Develop, document, test, modify, and maintain new and existing software applications
  • Develop working knowledge of Ameriprise systems, processes, data, and vendor tools
  • Learn and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to the development life cycle
  • Participation in Technology LDP Committees.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
  • Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with all levels of the organization including team members, managers, and senior leaders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior classroom, project, or work experience with software development/programming/coding.
