Requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Word, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and operational tempos simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in program or project management within the aviation or like industry.
- Prior customer experience
- TS/SCI
- 8 years of Program Management
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage aviation projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget, maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives, and acts as a technical liaison with vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency across projects.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor project progress to ensure objectives are met.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and implementing lessons learned in future projects.
- Responsible for all phases of the program budget and monthly Program Management Reviews. Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance and develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
