Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED – Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Successfully complete basic EKG training at the first offering and 16 hours of 12-lead EKG training within 3 months of hire – Required
Responsibilities
- Observe telemetry monitors
- Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care
- Accountable for providing direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice
- Understand and react effectively to the unique needs of all patients
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of Telemetry experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in the medical field preferred
- Certification in cardiac technology by the American Cardiology Association – Preferred
