Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading a test and development team.
- Expertise in environmental test setup, execution, and error-proofing.
- Proficiency with instrumentation such as thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure gauges, and flow meters.
- Hands-on experience in hardware and software testing at both component and system levels.
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment, including power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, and data acquisition systems.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages for test automation, data analysis, and visualization.
- Strong understanding of hardware development life cycles, reliability testing, and compliance standards.
- Willingness to travel for test integration, commissioning, and training.
- Experience in test fixture design and equipment selection.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement best practices for data capture and analysis to ensure high-quality testing outcomes.
- Design and automate advanced testing stages for Level 3 Charging Systems, ranging from component-level to full-system validation.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and suppliers to design experiments and ensure proper data collection from validation test cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-STD-50G, UL 2202, and UL 50E.
- Experience with medium- and high-voltage systems (up to 1000VDC).
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, SPI) and tools such as Vector.
- Proficiency in collaboration and requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, JAMA).
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on troubleshooting, failure analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document and present test results effectively.
- Experience in setting up and executing automated and manual test systems.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols SAEJ1772, DIN70121, ISO15118, CAN, Ethernet.
- Experience with Vector hardware and software CANape, CANalyzer, etc.
- Experience with embedded Linux devices, flashing, interfacing, etc.
