Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment
- Knowledge of evaluating, testing, and validating assigned applications, and participating in the development of solutions to resolve problems
- Ability to review assigned application documentation for correctness, adhere to the design concept and user standards, track problems and provide updates to designated management, and prepare milestone status reports
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Work with testers, developers, analysts, and CMs to evaluate software developed for the client
- Create a test plan with test cases based on user stories
- Generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs
- Document the results and communicate defects to the development team
- Automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of the client’s system
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software development using languages, including Java and Python
- Experience developing performance test scripts and scenarios using industry tools, including HP LoadRunner or Performance Center, JMeter, or other tools
- Experience developing data integrity test scripts on databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Ability to manage discrepancies identified during testing and collaborate with the software development team to resolve software bugs
- Ability to set testing schedules and provide progress or status to project management and client stakeholders
