Requirements
- Strong background in sales
- Personal travel experiences
- Certification from an accredited travel school (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (a graduate of an accredited travel school preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of travel sales experience required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills including multitasking in several websites and programs
- Knowledge of Geography and current world events
- Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings
Responsibilities
- Sell exciting travel packages including cruises, land packages, air travel, car rentals, and hotel accommodations
- Share personal travel stories and insights to educate clients on preferred travel products and services
- Successfully meet or exceed goals through relationship development with members and growing client base through new business referrals
- Leverage travel expertise to cross-sell relevant products to enhance the travel experience
- Prepare and process relevant travel documents and invoices in an organized and efficient manner
- Comply with and remain educated on current Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) regulations and AAA Club Alliance policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited travel school (preferred)
