Requirements
- A Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent with seven years postdoctorate experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to learn and use new processes, tools and equipment as required.
Responsibilities
- Animal handling and care for research projects.
- Handling of human tissue for research projects related to Alzheimer’s and heart and brain studies.
- Participate and lead efforts in molecular biology experiments within the lab.
- Maintain research database and all records for all applicable studies.
- Participate and lead in efforts for new manuscripts and grants writing.
- Maintain supply inventory/ordering and lab organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of scholarly activity as demonstrated by a significant number and quality of scientific publications, many of which as first or senior author.
