Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong understanding of user-flow and funnel optimization, demonstrating success in conversion rate optimization and growth hacking
  • Expertise in SEO copywriting and optimization techniques
  • Experience creating and optimizing user onboarding flows
  • Experience with user testing, product experimentation, and leveraging research and analytics to inform work
  • Deep understanding of behavioral psychology and its application to UX writing
  • Collaborative spirit with problem-solving mindset
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Portfolio that demonstrates content that simplifies and beautifies the overall user experience and shows business results, including details of the goal of the projects, role, collaborators, process, outcomes, and reflections on improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise, on brand, and compelling UX copy for site copy, calls to action, microcopy, landing pages, pricing pages, in-product messaging, on-site banners, user onboarding sequences, activation campaigns, notifications, error messages, tooltips
  • Create and optimize copy for conversion funnels
  • Write SEO-optimized content that ranks well and converts
  • A/B test copy variations to improve key metrics
  • Develop growth-focused microcopy for critical user journey touchpoints
  • Optimize onboarding flows to improve user activation and utilization rates
  • Work across Product Design, Product Management, Marketing, and Brand Studio teams to maintain consistent messaging
  • Partner with SEO team to ensure copy follows best practices
  • Coordinate with designers and engineers to ensure high-quality implementation
  • Participate in user testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve copy
  • Sync with data analysts to analyze user behavior analytics to inform decisions
  • Help develop content systems integrated into the Design System
  • Stay current with and share growth marketing, product growth, and UX writing best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization in ads, long form, social media content, video scripts, marketing campaign copy, or email content is not preferred
  • Need for a structured briefing process to do best work is not preferred
