Requirements

  • Expertise and relevant industry experience, especially in B2B software products or handling complex B2C workflows.
  • Strong background as a Product Designer with hands-on experience contributing to multiple successfully launched products, and the ability to discuss your specific contributions in a compelling way.
  • Ability to excel in ambiguous environments, thriving amidst uncertainty, and enthusiastically embracing opportunities for rapid design iteration.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for innovation and a keen ability to balance creative vision with strategic and business objectives.
  • Possess hands-on experience collaborating with Product Managers, engineers, UX writers, and UX Researchers, or alternatively, conducting user research yourself, and adeptly leveraging the insights gained from such research to shape and inform your design decisions.
  • Display an unwavering empathy for the user, showcasing a deep understanding of their needs, motivations, and aspirations throughout the design process.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • 3+ years’ experience and the ability to work independently with the Product and UX teams.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing innovative design approaches and crafting scalable designs that are assessed with thorough research and analysis of product data.
  • Collaboratively gather requirements to own user-centered experience flows, fostering the cross-pollination of ideas across product teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to identify the problems, business objectives, and user outcomes that your designs will effectively address.
  • Utilize critical user journeys to effectively guide and frame your design approaches.
  • Partner with User Researchers to identify and implement the optimal research methodology for evaluating your designs.
  • Take ownership of your designs and communicate effectively by articulating your design decisions to colleagues from various disciplines.
  • Participate in regular design critiques with your peers to actively give and receive feedback, fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to effectively communicate designs, ensuring a thorough and comprehensive evaluation process.
