Requirements
- 2+ years experience working in a field role (prior VFD experience highly preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED is required (Technical school training is preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop VFD specifications to ensure proper application and environmental fit, collaborating with the engineering team.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VFD equipment.
- Adhere to QA/QC standards when commissioning, upgrading, or replacing equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs, ensuring NEC compliance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures as needed.
- Troubleshoot relay controls, VFDs, and motor control centers, using CMMS to track repairs, inventory, and maintenance.
- Establish and document policies, procedures, and guidelines for plant operations and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school training is preferred
