Salary offers are based on the candidate’s equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

About the Position

Apply to the Vector Control Lab Technologist today! You will have the opportunity to interact and work with Vector Control Leaders from Academics to Government to Industry, that are dedicated to solving issues with mosquitos in Arizona.  

Our laboratory uses the latest technology for arthropod disease identification and soon we hope to begin using genome sequencing for testing pesticide resistance. Our mission is to test arthropod vectors for arboviruses that could significantly impact the health of Maricopa County citizens. We strongly believe in keeping our laboratory staff updated on the latest technology by attending various virtual webinars from scientists and vendors.

Please note this position follows a set schedule, Tuesday through Friday 7AM- 5:30PM.
