Requirements

• 3+ years of veterinary, healthcare, or small business management experience
• Proven track record in financial management, budgeting, and P&L responsibility
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency in veterinary software (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, or similar) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
• CVPM certification is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the hospital, ensuring exceptional service and patient care
• Supervise, train, and support staff in all departments; lead with empathy and accountability
• Manage hospital financials, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and inventory control
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
• Collaborate with the veterinarian(s) and department leads on strategic initiatives and hospital goals
• Develop and implement policies, SOPs, and staff scheduling to improve workflows and client satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Handle client concerns and support a culture of open, respectful communication
• Participate in marketing efforts and community outreach to grow the hospital’s presence

Preferred Qualifications
