Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Finance, Strategy, Business Operations, FP&A, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling high-performing finance & strategy teams.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, retention, LTV, CAC, and unit economics.
  • Expert-level financial modeling skills and experience analyzing complex data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to align financial goals with business priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, team management, and leadership skills to lead cross-functional collaboration effectively.
  • Balance IQ with EQ, demonstrating outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills to navigate executive-level discussions.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and be a self-starter, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong corporate finance expertise, including revenue recognition, FX, capitalization, accruals, and global entity consolidation.
  • Experience with ERP and financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the Finance & Strategy function, developing a world-class team to drive financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Own and enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
  • Drive company-wide strategic planning, ensuring financial objectives align with business growth and operational priorities.
  • Develop and refine revenue forecasting models, integrating insights from Sales, Marketing, Product, and Partnerships.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to set revenue targets, optimize pricing strategies, and design scalable sales compensation structures.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, assessing financial viability, return on investment, and strategic fit.
  • Implement and optimize financial processes and systems (including planning and budgeting software) to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting, and automation.
  • Support board and executive reporting, delivering clear, data-driven financial insights that support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with GTM, Product, Engineering, G&A, and Operations to ensure financial strategies support broader business goals.
  • Support M&A, fundraising, IR and investment decisions, leading financial modeling and due diligence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading financial strategy in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with IPO planning, public company readiness, and investor relations.
  • M&A expertise, including financial modeling, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
