Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, marketing or another related field
  • Knowledge of communications or marketing and at least six years of increased responsibility for business management, preferably with a large and complex organization
  • The ability to think creatively and deliver engaging solutions to communications needs, ones that cut through the noise and describe complex issues in simple language
  • Experience in a tech firm, financial services firm or in-house technology group, working directly with tech teams to promote their work across a broader organization
  • Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives
  • Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude
  • A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team based environment within a heavily matrixed organization
  • Track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive both broad and targeted communications efforts in partnership with the ESPA and Technology & Business Enablement teams
  • Work directly with the head of Technology & Business Enablement on his regular internal communications to his team
  • Help manage town halls, colleague engagement meetings, conferences and written and video messages
  • Support Technology leaders with their external profiles, including speaking engagements, social media and media relations
  • Work with both the content management system (intranet) and the team’s email distribution tool to upload/manage/distribute content
  • Make strategic risk assessment decisions, particularly considering the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement.
