Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Organizational Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 12+ years in a related role within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry, with demonstrated success in strategic partnership management, business development, or corporate strategy
- Deep understanding of the global payment ecosystem, including card processing, issuer solutions, and emerging payment technologies
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Proficient in assessing financial risks and opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements, and managing complex partnerships
- Familiarity with enterprise risk frameworks, data privacy considerations, and compliance requirements within the payments industry
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new strategic and technology partnerships that enhance our product offerings, support revenue growth, and expand our market reach
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of partner managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Facilitate the initial risk assessment of potential partners, including financial viability, competitive positioning, and preliminary data/privacy risk reviews, in coordination with enterprise risk teams for further governance
- Manage financial aspects of partnerships, including revenue-sharing models, allocated development funding, co-marketing investments, and sponsorship opportunities
- Oversee the lifecycle of strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives, performance tracking, and issue resolution
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Risk teams to align partnership strategies with broader business goals
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the global payments ecosystem to inform strategic decisions.
