Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security
- 6+ years’ of related experience and a Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and years of experience
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM
- Proficiency in configuring and optimizing virtual machines, storage, and networking
- Knowledge with configuration of virtual switches and VLANs
- VMware Certified Professional certification
Responsibilities
- Designs and builds virtual environment service models including Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service
- Identifies, designs, and implements process improvements for the virtualization of and distribution of applications: automating manual processes, optimizing delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
- Designs, implements, and maintains VMWare vSphere virtualization infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN
- Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
- Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
- Develops system architecture and system design documentation
- Interacts with the Government regarding technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
