Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, econometrics, data science, computer science, information technology or related field
- At least 10+ years of relevant work experience in business analysis or systems analysis at a major management consulting firm or within the financial services industry
- Strong analytic and problem solving / process improvement skills, ability to learn quickly, manage multiple demands, changing priorities and solve poorly defined problems.
- Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to create high quality written specifications that are comprehensive, accurate and tailored to the audience.
- Outstanding ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Overall experience in hands-on project management, specifically in information technology-related projects essential and supporting financial service businesses.
- Solid understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) components.
- Experience with technology-enabled forecasting and data visualization tools a plus (e.g., IBM Planning & Analytics, Essbase, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience working in an agile team using agile tools such as Rally
- Experience in programming languages: SQL, Java, & Python
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology product strategy to enhance the in-house built model execution and forecasting platform that aligns with the division’s vision, objectives, and customer needs.
- Monitor project progress, identify risk and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep project on track.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project alignment and synergy. Contribute ideas and insights to drive collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing across initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of features and user stories, refine backlogs, user acceptance testing and lead UX design sessions to ensure technical releases are aligned with user requirements and business goals.
- Collaborate with various business units to identify and prioritize their use cases. Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation to ensure alignment with the division’s goals and objectives.
- Engage users across the firm to solicit their feedback, informing management of strategic enhancements. Develop and execute product releases and adoption strategies.
- Provide continuous product support during critical model execution cycles. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance, track-user adoption, and identify areas for improvement.
