Requirements
- Extensive experience in Facilities Management, Global Construction, EHSS, Executive Security and security management, and Real Estate.
- Senior leadership experience within a mid to large scale manufacturing organization in the Life Sciences industry, specifically pharmaceutical or medical technology.
- Strong leadership and communication skills that enable effective collaboration with key stakeholders including the executive leadership team and various commercial and manufacturing sites around the world.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to identify and solve complex, multi-dimensional operational and organizational problems using appropriate resources and collaborations.
- Experience in capital program planning, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead scaling efforts of global infrastructure including manufacturing, distribution, R&D and commercial sites and locations.
- Mentor and lead a team of global specialists focused on construction, EHS & Sustainability, real estate, facility management and Security including Executive Security.
- Responsible for all capital projects within scope; completing on time, in budget, and with high quality results that meet project specs.
- Develop and maintain global standards for all key processes, including robust URS development with facility, process and business system requirements.
- Develop and communicate to the Sr Leadership Team on global strategies related to function, advising and influencing on best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on technical standards, best practices, regulations, and quality standards within and outside the medical device industry.
- Maintain overall ownership of all related capital projects, globally, including the capital planning process.
- Design real estate strategies for the short, medium, and long term aligned with Dexcom’s business priorities.
- Design and monitor departmental performance metrics and KPIs, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Negotiate and conduct due diligence assessments related to real estate and facilities M&A.
- Overall ownership of EHSS, sustainability, and all safety measures to reduce the environmental footprint in both office and manufacturing spaces as well as maintain safe and secure working environments.
- Effectively lead and mentor a team of professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 20+ years of industry experience.
- 15+ years of successful leadership experience in relevant industry.
