Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of financial services experience with direct investor engagement
  • Strong knowledge of private markets, including both open and closed-end funds
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with key financial partners and investors in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, ability to produce metrics, summaries, and reports

Responsibilities

  • Act as a direct point of contact for institutional and private wealth investors, addressing inquiries related to onboarding, account maintenance, re-registrations, and other investor-level services.
  • Support investors through the onboarding process, ensuring accurate completion of subscription documents, collection of proper documentation, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with distribution agents, consultants, and investors to ensure a seamless experience across fund lifecycles, providing personalized support and guidance.
  • Manage existing investor accounts, ensuring accurate maintenance of client records, processing re-registrations, and facilitating the distribution of client communications.
  • Partner with intermediaries, including Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing, to facilitate onboarding and subscription processes while ensuring alignment with platform requirements.
  • Manage group mailboxes used for communication with internal teams and external investors, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
  • Produce and deliver key metrics, summaries, and updates for senior management, including statistics on onboarding efficiency, intermediary relationships, and product launches.
  • Define and establish departmental procedures to optimize investor servicing and ensure consistency across touchpoints.
  • Drive continual improvement through process enhancements and automation, including assisting with UAT testing for ongoing project work.
  • Assist in managing relationships with fund administrators, focusing on investor services, data integrations, and creating workflows to support fund structures and distribution partnerships.
  • Understand the Firm’s private fund offerings and provide detailed explanations to investors, ensuring superior client service and tailored communication.
  • Support special projects related to investor services, operational improvements, and new fund launches.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support key intermediary relationships throughout the fund lifecycle, including subscription platform set-up, onboarding calls, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Oversee the launch and maintenance of products across various subscription platforms, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing a client service team and working with intermediaries is preferable
  • Experience with intermediary platforms such as Charles Schwab, Fidelity and/or Pershing is a plus
  • Experience working with tools like FrontInvest or eFront Invest is a strong advantage
