Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Security+ or CASP+ certification
- 5 to 7 years of experience in User Experience (UX) design
- Proven experience in creating seamless, integrated digital experiences
- Expertise in providing intuitive and adaptive UX
- Experience with data-driven methodologies to optimize user experiences
- Strong understanding of UX principles
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the overall UX strategy
- Define and extract proactive insights from both technical and human-based sensors
- Create digital experiences that meet the diverse needs of USSOUTHCOM users
- Employ data-driven methodologies and analytics to optimize user experience
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather user feedback and refine systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated UX design
- Provide strategic direction on UX improvements and best practices
- Monitor UX performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure UX improvements align with mission-critical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting USSOUTHCOM or other combatant commands
- Knowledge of DoD standards and policies related to UX design
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and design tools
- Experience working with both human and technical sensors
