Requirements
- Experience with the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation capabilities in support of joint exercises and training
- Ability to coordinate with DoD mission partners, non-DoD mission partners and Foreign Nation partners
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, analyze, assess, and plan to integrate new technologies into exercises and wargame campaigns
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and instrumentation related to pacing threats and homeland defense
- Guide the work for Department of Defense clients and deliver solutions for joint exercises, defense planning, strategic planning, and national defense strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a joint environment, Combatant Command, or defense agency
- Knowledge of missile defense systems and associated key training events and campaigns across Homeland Defense partners
- Ability to design, lead, and assess training events with participants from multiple defense agencies and combatant commands, to include senior leaders such as General Officers or Senior Executive Service
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Homeland Defense, National Security Policy, or Strategic Studies
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
