Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferable if analytical field of study (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
- Self-motivated. This is an entrepreneurial role with little to no direction on daily tasks / responsibilities.
- Excellent communicator, with top-notch interpersonal skills
- Team player with willingness to learn, grow, and receive feedback
- Willingness to serve as a ‘utility player’ and address client administrative needs to ensure exceptional client service
- Ideally Series 7 and 66 licensed, or ability to obtain within six months of hiring
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power Point
Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret portfolio performance reviews and make recommendations to financial advisors for potential change(s).
- Develop customized templates relevant to asset allocation studies, manager performance assessment, research, etc.
- Research investment solutions (managers, vehicles, etc.) and present to Financial Advisors in Investment Committee meetings. Prepare all materials for quarterly Investment Committee meetings.
- Provide support for business development initiatives, such as managing the team website, developing all customized pitchbook / case study material in collaboration with Financial Advisors, and managing Financial Advisor email marketing lists.
- Respond to Requests for Proposals.
- Develop relationships with clients, and necessary client communication skills, through administrative involvement / account servicing / responding to client requests.
- Improve team efficiency by creation of client-facing templates and decks.
- Proactively manage and prepare meeting materials / deliverables in accordance with Financial Advisors’ calendars.
- Assist with special projects, such as business development event planning and related brochures / ads, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred, but not required to have prior experience in client service within the financial services industry broadly
- A desire to pursue further accreditation, e.g., CFP™, CFA®, AWMA®, etc.
