Requirements
- 4+ years in a maintenance/facilities role in a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and technical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, fluid environment
- Possess competent knowledge of use and care of appropriate tools/equipment
- Proficient in reading diagrams/instructions and assemble furniture/workstations to spec
- Experience managing workload in a ticketing/project tracking system
- Computer literate
Responsibilities
- Assists Workplace Manager in overseeing facility operations across all Netflix Vancouver operations and studios. Engages in managing all facilities vendors and partners per the assigned site(s).
- Captures daily work requests and maintains corrective/preventative maintenance work records for internal and third party vendors, supporting various locations.
- Must be able to compose, send, and manage many emails daily, ensuring timely and accurate communication with vendors, partners, and team members.
- Provides prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants and manages work order maintenance tickets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in fast-paced operational setup where SLA adherence is critical
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time
- Conducts and operates regular facilities inspections and audits.
- Supports leading network system(s) i.e. HVAC automation, FLS and additional systems to be integrated.
- Provides support resolution of critical issues with infrastructure and manage day to day operations calls during disruptions; assess root causes and methods for remediation.
- Participates in new design construction walks, new system training, documentation and other collaborations between Workplace Operations and Studio Design and Construction.
- Implements site specific programs, procedures and systems to ensure regulatory compliance, protecting employees, and the environment.
- Collaborates with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
- Leads self-started projects and builds reports.
- Generates Building/Energy Management System reports detailing real time and historical trends such as temperature, humidity and status to identify anomalies.
- Isolates problem trends and ensures troubleshooting efforts to the identify root cause
- On-call for the support and coordination of any emergency repair or situation. Resolve emergencies as they arise in the most urgent manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience maintaining theater equipment is a plus
- Talent and/or certification in a trade such as carpentry, low voltage wiring, etc. is a plus
- HVAC technician experience/certification is a plus
